| Abstract: | The goal of the ECCD evaluation is to help Plan International identify replicable ECCD working approaches and models that can be scaled up at the global level, as well as to contribute to Plan's final reporting of the (Finland) Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Program Framework 2015 2017, which includes the ECCD component. |
| Description: | Plan Finland, which is funded by the Finnish government through its MFA Program Framework (2015-2017), implements projects in 11 African countries, including Ethiopia, that focus on child protection and early childhood development, with a strong emphasis on gender equality and inclusion of the most marginalized. The materials provide evidence-based findings/observations on project performance and outcomes; identify general challenges and key learning; identify any specific findings related to gender transformation and sustainability; and provide concrete recommendations for further refinement and development of the ECCD working models by the International Solutions Group (ISG), which conducted the final evaluation. |
