| Description: | This report summarizes the major findings and recommendations from a research and practice project on five-year-old children's psychosocial well-being. It took place in two regions of Ethiopia between 2016 and 2018: Amhara and the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region (SNNPR). It included three components: a research study, a program to improve the quality of four preschools located in the study areas, and the production of a short documentary film titled "Happy young learners in Ethiopia." All of these actions were undertaken to inform Ethiopian practice, teacher education, and policy in the field of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE). |
