Description: | The episode begins by a conversation between children and Mama Mango at her shop. Mama Mango greets and welcomes the children. She asks them to tell the names of the fruits they are observing. The children tell the names of the fruits and the woman appreciates the children. Then, she tells them that they are going to do a play activity and tells them that the play activity is called memorization of information. Mama Mango tells to the children information about each fruit. After a while, she asks the children to tell her information they heard before a moment. The children tell information about each fruit correctly and the woman appreciate the children for such participation. Then, the woman tells a story to children and after a while asks to retell what they heard from the story. The children are clever in memorizing the story and retelling it. The episode provides children to exercise how to memorize information which in turn boosts their cognitive power. The memorization activity involves storytelling, dialogue and songs and engaged children actively. It is useful for children to develop their listening, remembering and retelling skills and contributes to their social and cognitive development. |
