Abstract:	The purpose of this conference paper is to share the outcomes of a conference held with the broad goal of enabling stakeholders in Early Childhood Education and Care to share useful lessons and then adapt and apply them to their efforts to realize the goals of Early Childhood Education and Care in selected sites in North Showa Zone.
Description:	Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) organized a national workshop entitled “Sharing and Learning for Scaling up Early Childhood Care and Education Interventions” (Nov-24-26, 2015). The conference's primary goal was to promote the exchange of best practices among early childhood education and care stakeholders. The conference addressed a variety of topics, including policy challenges in early childhood education and care, research presentations, and site visits to ESD initiatives. The conference drew attendees from a diverse spectrum of organizations. Four research studies are given in the conference paper, together with ESD initiatives, site visits, group discussions, lessons learned, and concluding remarks.
