    Abstract: Amharic Alphabet, learning through play
    Description: It is a toy manufactured in Ethiopia with the purpose of introducing Amharic alphabets for pre-school children through colorful, attractive, manipulative and fun playing materials. Amharic alphabet toys are produced taking into consideration different aspects of children’s demand and safety. For instance, material purity and choking hazard size are taken into consideration in order not to affect the health of children. In terms of educational values, these toys are designed considering different learning strategies of children like observation of different shapes and colors, assemble and organize letters, as well as in developing their alphabet learning. Resources are Commercial material Available in super markets like Queens, Shoa, All-Mart, Lomiyad, Friendship or in bookstores like Mega, Ja-afar, Universal and other. It is also available in all small toys boutiques and juvenile shops in Addis Ababa and major regional cities.
