Mama Mango explores children's aspirations for the future and dispels gender norms surrounding career choices. When children are asked about their future career goals, a teacher finds that one of them wants to be both a doctor and an engineer. Another child expresses that girls can’t be engineers, implying that some careers are better suited for guys and others for girls. An adult comes in and says that anyone can pursue any career, regardless of gender. The teacher then reaffirms the point, which is that both males and girls may realize any desire given enough planning. The children learn about gender stereotypes and the value of setting and achieving objectives through planning.en_US
