Abstract: | In 24 schools in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, researchers tested the impact of a training intervention designed to improve teachers' capacity to effectively recognize preschool children's emotional and behavioral difficulties. |
Description: | The ability to instruct preschool teachers in Ethiopia on how to effectively recognize children's mental health and developmental difficulties was demonstrated in this study. It had been indicated that in a resource-poor environment like Ethiopia, teachers can play an important role in supporting early intervention and referral. |
