ECEC Play Hubs are neighborhood playgrounds for children ages 0 to 4 and their families. A space where children and their families of all ages can play games together, where parents and grandparents can receive information about child rearing, health, early learning, and development, and where they can meet with other parents to participate in creative and social activities. Additionally, the Hub serves as a toy library, where families can borrow toys and learn how to properly use them. Finally, the hubs connect families to other community resources such as health centers, early childhood education centers, and schools. Thus, this ECEC Play Hub Operating Guidelines outlines the steps necessary to establish and operate an ECEC Play Hub.en_US
